So DAMN bloody cold today.... apparently it was -3C yesterday night. Frost overnight. October and it was -3C already??? What about December then?? -10C?? or less??? I am so going to freeze over too like the water on the lake.
Hmm... today i made a really big BOO BOO (Ms Thomas' favourite word) on the phone. My house phone rang at half 7 today and i was half asleep, but about time to wake up. And so i picked it up and said "Hey Boy" into the phone, not realising that the person on the other side was my mum. Right. Maybe she is pretending not to have heard it, maybe i was mumbling so she din hear anything. I dunno. Think she will call again today or tonight. See if she says anything or not.
Made new grounds with friendster today. Saw loads of primary school friends.
I tell you... i am so f***ing angry with the bloody library. Maybe not thAT F***ing angry but i juz felt so pissed and unfairly treated. You see, there was a book on my reading list that cannot be found in the library, so i told the academic liaison officer (fancy name for librarian) of the Management School that this book was not in the library. She then immed ordered it and told me i would be informed once the book is ready. (I voiced my displeasure at not being able to find the book at the Joint Staff-student Liaison meeting - how could she say no?) Then today, i saw my friend holding a borrowed copy of the book that i wanted. And i was suprised cuz i would have gotten priority to it since i made the reservation (She got it off the shelf). So i went to check my records which said that the book is not available for collection and when i checked the catalogue, both the copies that the library have bought have both been borrowed out already!!!!! WTF??????????? How could they do that to me... i patiently waited a month for the book and now they juz let ppl borrow it without satisfying my reservation????
Now i am really fuming. They will get it from me in 2 minutes when i walk over to the library.
