Planes spotted on my way from South Bank to Covent Garden:
a BA (British Airways) B747 and B777-200
a EVA (Taiwanese airline of Eva Corp.) - can't tell what it is
2 JALs (Japan Air System) - both B747-400 (B744 for short)
some other planes, all flying very low, but can't tell what they really are
Now, my two favourite for the day
an ANA B747-400 in Pokemon livery!!!! So cool... i think it is so cool to even see the Pokemon livery from the ground!
and a 4-engine SIA plane. If u know SIA as well as this plane freak do, there are only 2 planes in SQ's fleet that has 4 engines, the B744 and the A340-500 (A345), which SQ uses for its non-stop flights from SIN to Los Angeles or New York. But considering that i spotted the plane at 4pm, it is kind of an odd timing, cuz SQ planes normally arrive at around 2-3pm and 7pm (don't ask how i know that). Then kor pointed out to me that there was only a single deck, so realised that it might be the A345 flying across london from New York (Newark) to SIN. Quite possible too, cuz this plane was flying at higher altitudes than others. :)
Highlights of the days was a single cone ice cream, the kind you get from an ice cream truck, buskers, buskers and more buskers, good sushi, japanese green tea, loads of tulips and good weather!!! Weather really held up today, was overcast in the morning, but the weather juz got better and better... out in my linen skirt! ;)
Anyway, Juz finished dinner... again after last week's birthday party, Victor decided to get people around again, so we had fried rice, yaki udon, stir fried lily flower bud with carrots and minced meat, and fried snakebeans, and frog legs. Yeah, frog legs. I actually have not eaten frog legs for over 10 years already, and to think that the place where i will eat it is in London. Pandan cake for dessert, which is to be served. Argh, i feel full already.
