F*** count today - 3 (one early morning, one in the afternoon, one over dinner)

Flexibility vs Rules
I am a flexible person. But I understand there are rules and rules are there for a reason. I do not expect rules to be bent just for me. I never expect that. Sometimes I might want rules to be bent, but I want them bent not just for me. I think operations should be changed. I think some rules can be bent/changed for "the greater good". I think of the consequences when I say such things. I do see the implications in "bending them" in favour of the customer and not just say them because "the customer is king" or any form of those BS. I know how PITA (Pain in the A***) how some customers can be, and I always tell myself I will not become like them.

A lot of times i complain to my friends because it is fustrating and i need to vent my anger. It is a rant. I do not expect any resolution to my rant from my friends. I just want someone to listen and then maybe to agree or leave me be. That's all. There is nothing you could have done about it. I don't expect you to. I just want you to listen. That's all.

Feel free to let me know if u think otherwise.

F*** Count 23rd February 2006 - 7

Thursday, February 23, 2006

I have never been a vulgar kid. I was very much an *angel*, and clean and innocent. Okay, I can hear all of you puking in the background. But I am serious, I hardly scolded foul words in MGS, not even s***, let alone F***. Case in point, when my friend (a certain Ms T Wong) was going to scold F*** in class in sec 2, and then she saw me, and the word that came out of her mouth was FISH instead. And you were definitely certain that that was not what she was going to say. But yeah, it shows how much of a good influence I was :)

In the past week or so, I probably have never been more vulgar, ever since Sunday. F*** probably every other hour. Triggered by either one thing or another, whether intentional or not. Everything bad will have a F*** or a F***ing, or other assorted varieties. It is really really bad. I think. I really don't like it myself, but I am going to let myself go until I have everything under control again, cuz this seems like the only way that I could let off some steam without affecting someone else. Yes, foul language is definitely noise pollution which affects the well-being of others, but it doesn't physically/emotionally affect other people, unless of course, you piss me off totally, in that case, please stand still on the firing line.

Anyway, I am going to start a F*** count. Just to see how vulgar I can get.

F*** count so far: 3. (That's nothing compared to Monday to Wednesday, probably because I had no outside contact so far)

The snow is finally starting to settle. And it looks like it might snow the entire night till tomorrow noon. Let's hope it stays that way. I am alone right now, not in a mood to go out. Please keep the snow long enough so that I can have my snow fight. It've been a while since I have one.

And all vulgarities on this blog will be *Beeped*. While whatever that come out of my mouth may be foul, I am going to keep this blog at a rated G level, so that all ages, everyone young and old, innocent or corrupted may enjoy it. :)

DOES ANYONE WANNA GO ON HOLIDAY WITH ME????

A Look Back...

This is not written by me... but by Peish, an ex-schoolmate in NYC... and it sums up perfectly what I have been feeling for the past year, actually since September really... sigh...

"There was much merriment and festivity, but towards the end of the night it was also tinged with a distinct sense of regret and nostalgia. This was to be, for many of us, our last Chinese New Year overseas, our last year away from home. And in any leaving and returning, there is always a bittersweetness in letting go of one place and returning to another. In all the years of flying back and forth between the two sides of the earth this has become a familiar sensation, and yet this time around it is compounded because we are going back for good. Of course I am greatly looking forward to spending time with family and friends after such a long separation, but at the other side of the plane ride is not just another summer holiday, but really, the rest of our lives. We do not only leave New York, we leave behind the last of our carefree student existence.

Hello, real world."

This is really not fair. It's snowing now in NYC, it had snowed in London, it had snowed in Cambridge... in EVERYWHERE except here. Why are we experiencing a snow drought? Not fair. I want my snow... *HMPH*

Then on CNY eve itself, we went to the union where there was this CNY Celebration thingy with a chinese buffet and performance. For me though, it ended up as a night of "Oh, Long time never see you already!", followed by," Take Photo, take photo!", and then ended off with some dancing!! Although it was 0C outside, we all gamely left our coats at a friends' place and ran to the union! Great Fun!

Still Pretty Sane... Just after dinner (This is the "we're still drinking J2O phase)

The SJI boy and the ACSians

Class of 2006 IHTM - We Rock! (This is the "take photo, take photo" phase)

Getting there (Destination: High)

As promised, photos for Chinese New Year. This was taken on Eve of Chinese New Year Eve, with an amazing steamboat dinner with two soup bases, Tom Yam and Seafood, accompanied by chicken, abalone, prawns, fish ball, vege, crab sticks, and sausage. Yum!

See Terrence at the table, ready to start and finish all the food before everyone else!!!

I now know that apparently when I get drunk, I start crying, then laughing, then crying, and laughing, and crying again, until I manage to fall asleep.

I also now know my alcohol limit.

Anyway

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TERRENCE!!!

(I would have chosen hot pink, but they didn't have this colour, hence violet would have to do for your birthday wishes)

Name five of life's simple pleasures that you like most, then pick five people to do the same. Try to be original and creative and not use things that someone else has already used:

1) Not having to set the alarm the next day... I can't do it . I even set alarms on weekends
2) Chilling out on a comfy sofa with a good cup of coffee, watching the world go by
3) Homemade Kaya Toast!
4) Smelling the flowers that bloom in spring.
5) Reassurance in times of doubts. Not really something I can do myself, but I really really appreciate being reassured, being told that everything is gonna be okay.

Quite Happy with my Haul from Tesco today. Not a single item over GBP1 and a total of 14 items for just GBP4.69... very proud of myself...

In particular,
One Plum and Hoisin stirfry vegetables with noodles - WAS GBP1.79, Bought at 27p
One Pack of Baby Corn - WAS GBP1.49, Bought at 22p
One Pack of Asparagus Tips - WAS GBP1.49, Bought at 22p
One Pack of Pak Choi - WAS 55p, bought at 8p
Two Packs of Strawberries - WAS GBP1.99 each, Bought at 30p each

TOTAL SAVINGS - GBP7.87!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!! That is A LOT considering that I spent a GRAND TOTAL of GBP1.09 ONLY on the above items!!!

Wow... Very very pleased with my haul now...

Of course all these items are reduced because they are expiring soon, but then again, even if it is a reduced item, I am still very particular about quality and I can safely say that everything I bought today have passed my QA!!

Tried the Plum and Hoisin stirfry... not bad... but the sauce was funny (not in the expired-funny kind of way - the sauce expires 11 Feb), maybe cuz I dun really like plum sauce?? But it was a nice dinner though... :)

Read this before actually picking up a cigarette (In the 1st January post)

You Should Be A Leo
What's good about you: you always speak your mind and aren't scared of anything
What's bad about you: you have to be the boss, and you love to control others
In love: you enjoy being admired and pampered, but don't always reciprocate
In friendship, you're: easy to get along with and the center of attention
Your ideal job: member of royalty, TV anchor, or investment banker
Your sense of fashion: classic well fitting clothes that last forever
You like to pig out on: Greek or Italian food
What Sign Should You Be?
Good thing then that I am born in August!!

ME, MYSELF.
